Banners' day

Today was our first day of the Summer Farm School, and what an exciting first day it was! Firstly, all of the children met their group leaders and the other children all together. We made name badges so everyone could remember each others names and decorated them. Next was a trip to the vegetable patch to pick some home grown vegetables, which today included tomatoes, peppers and a huge courgette!

We then made banners with our names on, decorated them and hung them up around the farm for everyone to see, which looked wonderful. We cooled down by going for a swim in the pool to play some games. We then sat and listened to stories while some of us made bracelets out of colourful string, pasta and glitter! We ended with lots of songs and dancing, and enjoyed listening to the music.
